It’s Official!

The Harbor Master’s Eardley Spit Cruise

Saturday, June 22^nd at Great Salt Lake.

Cruise out to one of the most protected anchorages on Great Salt Lake.  Eardley Spit is a dagger of white sandy beaches just three miles west of the Great Salt Lake Marina.

Beach games, such as volleyball, bocce ball and horse shoes will be provided on the beach.  Enjoy a potluck lunch on the spit.

Agenda:

1000hrs:       Captain/Crew meeting at the pavilion of Great Salt Lake Marina

1030hrs:       Depart the marina for a leisurely sail out to Eardley Spit.

1200hrs:       Raft-up or anchor near the spit (anchorage coordinates will be provided at the Captain/Crew meeting.

1200 to 1300hrs:   Shuttle to the beach.  Please bring your own dinghy or kayaks if possible to cut down on needed shuttles

1300hrs:       Potluck and beach games

1530hrs:       Last shuttle from the beach to the boats from the Harbor Master

This event is open to all vessels regardless of club affiliation.

Please plan on providing a potluck dish for lunch if possible.  BYOB.

Items to think about bringing:

· Suntan lotion

· Bug spray

· Plenty of drinking water

· Beach towel

· Trash bags

· A way to get to the beach from your boat if possible.

· Camera

· Beach games if you have any

· Beach chairs

· A good attitude
