Janet - the Exec Approps meeting scheduled for tomorrow is canceled and the one Thursday will probably be canceled as well. We only had these scheduled up in case we were ready with final budget proposal, but we're still negotiating details. The cancellations don't mean you should suspend your visits, however. You can still do some impactful last-minute work. Call me if you have a moment and want to discuss strategy and possibilities.

Subject: URGENT ACTION - Exec Appropriations Committee

Through the efforts of Dennis Gwyther at the Capitol today we have an update.

The Democrats are on board with us – the Republicans are the ones we need to work on. We have people going to the Capitol tomorrow to give them some info – and hopefully be able to talk to a few and sway them.

The Executive Appropriations Committee meets again tonight and tomorrow night – from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Senate Bldg Room 210 (East Building upstairs from the Cafeteria)

I NEED EVERYONE THERE BOTH NIGHTS – Bring any other adult you can find – we need to be there in masses (having only a handful of people is going to send the wrong message) - that means you bring your wife, your kids, your neighbors, your employees, any other person that doesn’t look like a vagrant you picked up off the street

I don’t care – I just need that room packed – if we only have a handful of people show up – we are doomed – they need to see our presence
