Good news!  Very Good news!

I have been predicting that we needed at least 125% snowpack for the Great Salt Lake drainage area to have a positive impact on the lake this year.  We have been flirting below that level all winter but showing some increases lately.  Today we hit that magical number of 125% with the Bear River drainage at 147% of normal.

This gives me renewed hope that the lake may have another burst in lake rise buying us more sailing season this year.

The reason I have emailed all of you this news is that after the disastrous winter last year and the way this winter began, it was time for a little bit of sunshine on the lake prognosis.

I have other good news to follow about the marina mouth.  But it is a tad premature to announce that.
