I can't really say what is going on - but I can tell you we are making BIG progress - there is more happening behind the scenes than we are seeing.  IT'S GOOD - we have their attention in a big way.

I know everyone is getting frustrated but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show up tomorrow - if you can get there early (about 10)  go send some blue notes in and try to do some lobbying.  Even if they don't come out to see you, they will see the note.

How to Lobby (short version) - go to the Capitol Bldg (the one with the dome) go up to the 3rd floor (if you come in the side door you are on the first floor, if you come in the front doors you enter on the second floor.   Once on the 3rd floor, the Senate is on the north side and the House is on the west side.  You will see the Legislators names on the doors, find who you want to talk to.  Don't even bother with any Senator or Rep from Utah County, it will be a waste of time.  Outside the doors with the names are tables that have two gentleman wearing gold coats (I think they are gold) - on the tables are some "blue notes", you fill out one for each person you want to talk to - in the subject area, please make sure you write "I would like to talk to you about the funding for the GSL Marina" - give these notes to the men in gold coats and they take them inside to the Senator or the Representative.  Even if they don't come out and talk to you they know you are there.  It's that easy.

BUT REMEMBER - BE BACK IN THE EAST BLDG, Room 210 by NOON.  If you are there a few minutes early you may be able to talk to a few of them as they are going into committee.

Representative Brian King (on our side) stated - "they do not take comment at Executive Appropriations Committee meeting.  But it would be a good thing to show up."
