We had our almost daily dredging meeting yesterday.  I small wrinkle has developed.  It was planned that you would have access through the mouth of the marina on a limited basis once they get the barge into the mouth.

This is not going to be possible.  It would substantially lengthen the project every time they have to move the barge out of the mouth of the marina.

The plan now is to shut down the mouth completely for approximately two to three days once they move the barge into the mouth.  Although the date hasn’t been set, it looks like that would happen sometime late next week.  We will reevaluate this on Monday.

The closure would last from 6am to 6pm each day.  Access before 6am will be possible but make sure you are back in the marina BY 6am.

Access through the mouth after 6pm will be possible as they will move the barge out of the mouth each day.

Again, this closure is only expected to last two to three days.  I will keep  you posted on the date when this closure is expected.

The good news is, after the mouth is dredged, most of the boats should be able to  get back out on the lake again.
