As an Emergency Responder, it is necessary for me to have my phone on 24/7 and not silenced. I am expected to respond to any emergency at the Great Salt Lake at any time. But this makes for unwelcome interruptions in sleep or personal time too. I have been receiving business related texts and calls anywhere from 5:15am to as late as 10pm. This makes doing this job very annoying as it interrupts personal time and even sleep. These calls have been ramping up as the season gets underway and boats go back in the water. So I am asking for a favor. I will make myself available from 9am to 5pm for business related calls and texts (barring meetings, trainings, etc.). But, please, no TEXTS or CALLS outside those hours if it is related to marina or park business. I will always respond to an emergency. If you are in trouble out on the lake please call me or call 911 and I will respond. That is my job. But Parks does not expect me to respond to business related calls out of business hours. I have pretty much been working seven days a week so I'm usually available every day of the week (barring meetings/trainings, etc.) Better yet, send me an email. You can send me an email 24/7 and I will respond as soon as I can.; emails don't wake me up. I do well with emails. Thank you, for your consideration. Dave
