Well you folks  getting into politicking here is something else of interest to anyone with love for the great Salt Lake. Senate Bill 281 would fund a large diversion on the Bear River, further exacerbating low lake levels.
Please take the time to look at this Facebook post from Utah Rivers counsel and act accordingly.

While  the effects of this diversion won't be as immediate as dredging, the long-term effects will be much more significant overtime.
