We already have 1/2 inch of rain in Sugarhouse - We are loving it (muddy dogs or not)
In addition to Dave's earlier edict of bringing 5 gallons of water from home to gain entrance to the park I am recommending the following:
1) place tarps over your lawns to prevent this fantastic rain from soaking in an channel it to the street gutters.
2) Channel your rain gutters so that they will also send this rain to the street gutters.
The street gutters already channel the runoff eventually to the Great Salt Lake.
These two simple actions, I am confident will assist dramatically in raising the lake level... and just think how much more effective it will be if we can each convince two of our neighbors to do the same.
