Vessel Registration

If you have a boat (with a motor or a sail) in the water at the Great Salt Lake State Marina, it must be registered.

Next week the rangers will be doing their semi-annual dock inspection checking registrations.  I have been informed that citations will be written for expired registrations or “Failure to Display”

If you haven’t been able to get out here and get your stickers on the boats, please do asap.

Rebuilding of the Marina Maintenance Building

The powers-that-be have been investigating where to put the new (replacement) maintenance building.  They have determined that the best location is where Unsecured Storage is currently located.  The original spot of the maintenance building will be converted to the new Unsecured Storage.

Over the next few weeks the site of the old building will be prepped for storage.  This will include new fencing and gravel.  After that all trailers and boats located in the current Unsecured Storage will have to be relocated to the new spot.

For those that want the convenience of having electricity or being located in the marina proper may want to consider Secured Storage while I still have a few spaces left.  Cost of Secured Storage is $75.00/month ($50/month during winter months)
