GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users.

First the good news:  The marina parking lot has thawed out and most of the water has evaporated now.  Same with sidewalks and gangways.  The docks are still pretty frozen still.

And the water in the marina is beginning to thaw out too.  Maybe the racers and cruisers will be able to get out of their slips tomorrow.

But now the bad news:  The fresh water coming in from the Goggins is frozen solid and has made its way to the marina.  The Deep Channel was frozen solid and ice is taking out buoys (see attached photo).  It is the thickest I’ve seen the ice outside the marina.  We have broken much of it up with Rescue One.  But The ice sheet is very large and will likely move back in by morning.  Getting to the lake tomorrow may be difficult to impossible.
