A couple things. First of all, I've noticed several boaters doubting the reef is still there since we had so much water this spring. Trust me, it is still there. Those we have had to pull off the reef this summer can also attest to that. In many areas the reef is just below the surface of the water. Second, the lake has begun to drop. We have already lost 4/10ths of a foot (Linda, that is just shy of 5 inches). The Catalina 30's are beginning to hit at the mouth but are still getting out. So, for those of you with deep drafts, get out and enjoy your boats while you still can. We knew it was going to be a short season for the deep draft boats. For those with 4 foot drafts or less, I think you will get most, if not all the sailing season in still. I don't think any boats will have to pull this fall though. Dave
