Well, sadly, my predictions were on. So were the predictions for National Weather Service for low precip and hot temperatures. And, unfortunately, these unseasonal strong frontal winds combined with hot temperatures are doing a lot of damage to the lake levels. We are already lower than we have seen since the 1960's. And we are going to go down more in the next few months. We have the bulk of the boats out that need to come out. But there are many more that have not pulled yet. If you have a draft over 2.10 feet YOU NEED TO PULL YOUR BOATS! It is not an option to stay in with your keels in the mud. We have tentatively planned the last community crane day for July 15th. Please, if you have a draft over 2.10 feet, get your masts down NOW. Four foot draft boats are already dragging at the mast crane. If you have cradles or stands, please get them ready. Make sure you have pads and everything is in order. If you have a trailer, please get them ready. Make sure the tires are in good shape and WILL HOLD AIR. Make sure your bearings are in good shape. Make sure tongue latches work. Make sure pads go up and down freely. Again, this is not an option at this point. It is very sad we have lake levels doing what they are and are going to reach historic lows in the next month. But that is the reality. If you want to get in on this last community crane day please let me know. If you plan to pull your boats with a crane company on a later date I can give you numbers of crane companies. Thanks Dave
