In working with Steve Rogowski at National Weather Station, he has created a new page to watch wind around the lake.  Here is the link to it:  https://rogowx.org/MesoWest/

The marina weather station as well as the Kennecott station that is located in the marina are both on this page but you will need to zoom in quite a bit to see them.  Once you see one of the stations you can click on it and data for that station will come up.

Great Salt Lake State Park and National Weather Service have been working to make boating safer and more predictable on the lake.  I hope it works.
