Sorry for this late email update.

Most of you have heard about the Lakeshore Fire on Friday that threatened the Great Salt Lake State Park.  The fire certainly did threaten the marina but all the responding fire departments did a great job in creating defensive lines to keep the fire out.

This fire was as big as the fire 12 years ago.  There is a LOT of damage all around us BUT there is NO damage to the marina or personal private property.

BUT the marina is working with a backup generator supplied by Rocky Mountain Power.  We have no internet, which is why it took so long to get this email out to you.

The park is functioning but we do have some limitations.  Please expect some delay in answering emails.
