GSL and Antelope Island Slip Renters.

Are you sailing today?  It is a tricky forecast.  There seems to be two models out there.  One is apparently land based while the other one is more Great Salt Lake water based.

The land based model shows breezy southerly winds.  The water based model shows gale force winds out of the north.  Right now it appears the water based model is more likely to become reality.  IF this model holds true we will have strong northerly winds and large waves building on the lake throughout the lake starting mid to late afternoon.

I am going with the water based model.  We have issued a Gale Force Warning for this afternoon through evening.

But, maybe I will be wrong and it will be a great sailing day.  If you decide to go sailing today please pay close attention to the conditions.
