Wow!  Another year come and nearly gone. 

We had a wonderful Turkey Fest with 9 turkeys deep fryed and 140 people fed.

Now it is time for the annual Bottom-of-the-Pit Chili Party.

Saturday, December 23^rd, we will celebrate the shortest day of the year being behind us and the coming of another boating season at Great Salt Lake.

11am to 3pm we will host the 50^th? Annual Bottom-of-the-Pit Chili cookoff at the Cambria Room (the old yacht club common room).  Bring your favorite chili recipe or other special pot-luck special dish or side.  Come out and see old friends;  maybe even enjoy a day on the water after having some great food.

Prizes will be given for Most Original Recipe, Spiciest, Best Tasting Recipe.
