FRIDAY JUNE 14

Opening Ceremonies

Opening Ceremonies                                        6:30 pm

Meal ticket and t-shirt sales                           6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Hamburger and hotdog barbeque

$5.00 includes chips and a side of coleslaw

Begin serving at 7:13 pm

Movie on the lawn                                             dusk

Touring the Night Sky. This event will take place during Sail Fest at Great Salt Lake Marina. Join the Park Naturalist at 9:30 pm each night as we take a tour of the night sky. We will discuss some of the wonders of space, locate a handful of constellations, and talk about how we can make our night skies darker

SATURDAY JUNE 15^TH

Breakfast

Breakfast hosted in cooperation with Utah State Parks

Begin serving at 8:13 am

Cardboard boat race

Cardboard boats will be launched by the Ranger dock

Spectators will want to gather at the marina pavilion or on “E” dock for the best view of the fun and sinking.

Free Sails

Free sailboat rides to the public. Sign up and meet at the marina pavilion

Children’s events

Wristbands may be purchased at the t-shirt booth for $5.00 per child

All events including bounce houses, facepainting, and games will be held on the lawn east of the marina pavillion

We are pleased to have “Loose Change” with us this year for Sailfest.
