Hurricane Force Warning

For the Great Salt Lake Marina

and the Great Salt Lake

GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users.

We have issued a Hurricane Force Warning for the Great Salt Lake Marina and Great Salt Lake.

We are currently tracking several large thunderstorms. Some of these have already hit the Great Salt Lake and the Marina.

None of the storms have caused damage in the marina yet.

The storms we are tracking have the potential of very strong winds, heavy rain, lightning and hail.

These storms are potentially dangerous and a risk to property.

We could see winds in excess of 70 mph with these storms.

Please consider whether your vessels and property at the marina is secured for these winds and storms.

This warning is in effect through tonight.

We will attempt to keep you posted on changing conditions.
