I see some of you are exercising your new-found freedom from being trapped in the marina now.  There is 4.3’ in the shallow spots of the mouth now with a minimum of 6.1’ in the channel.

But just a couple words of caution.  The first is to check your equipment and make sure it is working reliably before venturing onto the lake.  The other is to pay close attention to the current.  There is so much water coming into the lake that the current is quite strong.  Give yourself a wide berth along the navigation buoys.
