GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users

What an incredible response to the Turkey Fest.  It looks to be a record crowd.  And the weather looks good for Saturday.

We will begin serving the turkeys (all eight of them) at 4pm SHARP.

The Turkey Cup RC Sailboat Race is being moved to Sunday at 2:30pm (weather permitting)

Brock’s Wake is set for Sunday from 11:30am to 1:30pm.  I will have Clam Chowder available (until it runs out).  Sides are welcome.  The plan is to have the Wake on K dock in front of Brock’s boat.  If the weather is inclement we will move it to the club house and patio.  Bring any pictures you have of Brock.  We will post them on the display board.

As mentioned before, the RC racing will be on Sunday at 2:30pm weather permitting.  This will be a regatta style format.

And thank you for all that are getting their slip/dry storage contracts in early.  You can also bring your contracts to the Turkey Fest, the Wake, or the Bottom-of-the-Pit party in December.

And I need to make a reminder about dock lines.  We had a boat break their dock lines in the 75mph winds a week ago.  The boat ended up wedging itself underneath the dock and breaking off all its stanchions.  If your dock lines are more than two years old replace them.
