Re: [Glencook-fans] Dread Empire new series
Path (2102) is 4 years old; Amazon.us shows 12 copies remaining in paperback. Fortress (2007) is an omnibus, collecting The Fire in His Hands (1984) and With Mercy Toward None (1985). Wind (2006) is an omnibus, collecting A Shadow of All Night Falling (1979), October's Baby (1980), and All Darkness Met (1980). How the the heck did I miss roll-out of this, apparently starting 9 years ago with "A Cruel Wind" (then "A Fortress in Shadow" and "Reap the East Wind")? (Though I do have the short-story collection, "An Empire Unacquainted with Defeat.") I don't recall ever seeing these in Barnes & Noble. Are there paperbacks yet? Any thoughts on this series? It's quiet out there. Too quiet. I'm starting to wonder whether we'll see any more new books from Glen at all, despite the two BC books that he said were well underway years ago. On Thu, Dec 8, 2016 at 4:41 PM, saulamca--- via glencook-fans < glencook-fans@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

I am not sure but I get the feeling that Glen Cook writing career may be over. I have not read any of his other books, but I loved the Garrett P.I. books. I started reading them when the first one came out and it is time to get started reading them once again.
