I sent the below message after resubscribing but I didn't see it (despite using the option to see my own posts) so I'm including it below. I have to say that I'm glad the list is back. It was a quiet one but fun and informative when people did use it. I too found "Whispering Nickel Idols" in the bookstore when I was doing my usual casual glance to see how many Glen Cook books they had. Very fun. So far, I am enjoying the Garrett novel -- it's typical fare for that series though I am liking it a bit better than the last couple so far. Can't wait for my birthday in a couple weeks to get "The Tyranny of the Night." The massive hints I dropped better be enough. ;-) Steve ------------- Hi all, I think I was accidentally unsubscribed from this list, or else it's been really dead. I was shocked to come across a new Glen Cook book in the bookstore last week, "Whispering Nickel Idols," a new Garrett novel. And then I was even more shocked today when a friend emailed me about a new Glen Cook book, "The Tyranny of the Night," an entirely new fantasy series. Whoohoo! :-) Anyway, I wondered how I could have missed this on the Glen Cook mailing list which is when I discovered that I no longer seemed to be subscribed. So, what's the news? Anybody still here? Steve -- Steve Chew - schew@interzone.com - http://www.interzone.com "Don't take life too seriously, you won't get out alive."
