Glen has stated numerous times that he is
working on a new BC novel. Several short stories have been
released in anthos that are said to be chapters from this
upcoming BC novel which seem to take place between the first
BC book and the second. So I retain hope yet.

Maybe it was because I had a better understanding
of what was considered normal in that world than the first
time around.

Would love to see another Black company series
but I don't think it will happen. which is too bad.

Yes, I enjoyed the Instrumentality books
better second time through.  Not sure why it took me a
second reading to get into them better; it may well have
been me and not the books.

I still think there's too much telling instead of
showing, but it's an enormous canvas he's painting;
I've never seen anything other
than a history book so concerned with involved politics in
so many centers.

Date: Monday, January 4, 2016, 1:20 PM Happy new year,
all.  In the absence of anything new from Glen, I started
rereading these over the holidays.  For whatever reason
I'm enjoying them a lot more the second time through.
Anyone else had a similar experience? I append the perennial
question about whether there's any news about
forthcoming books from Glen.  Cheers, Larry -----Inline
