Well, maybe not the end of the world.&nbsp; And I&#39;m sorry that I&#39;m the one posting this.<br><br>I recently went looking for Torrents, seeking anything from Glan Cook.&nbsp; I ended up with ecopies of many books I already own (all the BC, and the Garret, some of the Dread Empire in paperback, more of the Dread Empire in re-issued Hard Covered, and the Instrumentalities of the Night, Tower of Fear, Sword Bearer, and others).&nbsp; While going though the download, I stumbled across a short story.&nbsp; Call it 46 pages in adobe reader.<br>

----<br>I haven&#39;t read the story yet (and probably won&#39;t until the book ships so I can read it in context; there are few things worse than a story read out of order which gives you spoilers for what is to come), but this is a short story that has already been published somewhere and not a new Dread Empire novel.<br>
