Even tho it's very hard for him to get around, he likes to get out. Often he doesn't get out of the car... (like when we take him to Pace's or Nielsens) ... but he likes to ride with. Earlier in the year he was still going to the Family History center and Golden Years. But he's quit doing those. So now he usually only gets out to go to Dr appts and church. Ask dad if he wants a ramp to get out of the house on his scooter (like his friend grandpa Don. But tell mom that dad isn't allowed to drive it to subway for a sandwich! They'll understand that). At least that would give him a little freedom and control. That was one thing he expressed, not being able to do what he wanted (his body) to.
