FOTD -- December 15, 2009 (Rating 3) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: To begin, there is no FOTD for December 14. I was simply too busy. But, if you look closely, you might find one for December 15. The name "Much Enlightenment" came to mind while I was watching the 'climate' conference on Monday, where I saw far too much politics and far too little constructive discussion. I saw a lot of griping by demonstrators from third-world countries but not a single word about the earth's over- population, which is one of the leading causes of the climate problem and has largely been brought about by the high birth rates in these third-world countries. And to top it off, I saw demands for reparations from the industrialized nations to the poorer countries, as though the industrialized nations were responsible for every drought, flood and cyclone in the world. The climate conference is craziness at its pinnacle, and will probably go down in history as the event where our civilization "jumped the shark". As for today's image.
