FOTD -- February 13, 2006 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's search takes us to a Julia set 80 levels up the logarith- mic hyperspiral of the Z^(sqrt(2))+C Julibrot. The image we find there is a rather delicate network of finely-divided 'outside' stuff. I gave the image no name, though I did give it a rating. IMO, the image rates a 7. The render time of under 2 minutes is brief enough so that no one should be afflicted with impatience while rendering it. The fractal cats sneaked onto the porch this afternoon and checked the conditions for about one minute before determining that the day would be better spent indoors.
