Knute, If you are in DOS just type "fractint" and hit ENTER. If you have the MAP, CFG and sstools.ini present it should just come up and run. You can also type "fractint makedoc" and it will create a large and detailed instruction file; it has a "doc" extension but it is a plain ascii text file - read it from DOS or windows notepad. I have been using fractint for over 15 years and i am STILL learning things about it! Like hitting the "L" key while color cycling to see and choose MAP files from the directory. Have fun. .
