FOTD -- November 30, 2008 (Rating 7.5) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is named "Something From Nothing". The name came about when I began with a blank screen of trapped inside stuff -- nothing -- and applied the 'bof60' inside fill to change the nothing into something -- today's image. As for a theme -- forget it. Anything and everything appears in the image. I see quadratic elements, cubic elements, as well as some things that defy classification. Actually, the 'nothing' in today's image rates a 7.5 -- not too bad a rating for a screen full of nothing. The colors appear a bit too light and pale to my eye, which is the reason the image rates no higher. The calculation time of 3-2/3 minutes should cause no one to feel impatience. And even the possibility of impatience may be eliminated by viewing the finished image on the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> Morning sun and afternoon clouds with a temperature of 45F 7C made the fractal cats happy, but otherwise left little to comment on here at Fractal Central on Saturday.
