hi! Where's the right place to post bugs? I just fired up the latest fractint dev snapshot on DOS 6.22 on real hardware (hi 286/287!) and I found a couple things: * there were some non-8.3 compatible filenames in the zip file, and * there's no FRACTINT.CFG that was installed in the ZIP file, so only the built-in graphics targets worked. Thanks! -adrian
Hi Adrian, Since this list is pretty quiet, this is as good a place as any to post bugs. If you tell me the exact file you mean by "the latest fractint dev snapshot", I'll look into it. Our website is way overdue for at least a small overhaul to make things clearer, I've told Jonathan I'd do that, but not to make it a modern website, just clean it up a bit so it's more accurate. Adrian,

The zip file "fractint-20.04p14.zip" (fradev.zip points to this) has been updated to include fractint.cfg. I removed the files with names that were not of the 8.3 format. They didn't belong in the zip. I did not shorten the folder name. Let me know if that is a problem. This was done on fractint.net. The mirror site at fractint.org has not yet updated. Thanks for the feedback! Jonathan
Jonathan, thanks for responding to Adrians report. You wrote: This was done on fractint.net. The mirror site at fractint.org has not yet

Fractint.org should be updated now. Fractint.org is currently running on a local machine in my office, and updating it is not yet automated. Everyone should understand that fractint.net is currently the main site. Tim

Thanks! I'll download it tonight and give it a whirl. -adrian
