Albrecht's fractal, "Lite Zoom" is related to the 21225MM.GIF and 21225PA.GIF images. They share not only the same color map, but also the same five formula types selected by the digits: "21225" in the file's name: Mandelbrot, Secant, Mandelbrot, Mandelbrot, and Many Mods. The features in the fractal make some use of the smooth gradations of the four colors in the color map: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/Albrecht/21225MM_map.jpg producing some smoothly-shaded areas. See my comments about this color map in yesterday's (Dec 16, 2012) Fractint post. It almost seems like delicate gold ferns are dipping into the blue water making waves in the water. The red and gold circular frame around the blue water makes it feel like the blue water is in a small artificial pond -- surrounded by a walkway made of tiny pieces of colorful gravel. The vertically centered ball balanced on a cone is rendered in bold patterns and colors with some features having a bit of the three dimensional aspect mentioned above.
