I'm trying out a little app called "Mailwasher" http://www.mailwasher.net This allows you to look at all the headers in your ISP's server, and decide
whether to accept it, delete it
I can do that using Pegasus Mail for Windows. ;-)
or bounce it.
Don't use that "feature." The only valid bounce message is the one the sender receives when it connects to your mail server and tries to send the message. At best, any "bounce" message received after the mail has already been delivered goes to a bogus email address. At worst, if the spammer actually used a real address to receive bounces, it confirms that the email address was read by someone. David gnome@hawaii.rr.com
