I, for one, would be willing to pay for an upgrade. And marketing Fractint as shareware, or something similar, would add an incentive that might draw new programmers into the development team. But I think Tim is committed to the open-source freeware concept. With a spare computer dedicated to DOS and fractals, I have no problems with the current DOS platform.
