Folks, Made text modes ignore the mouse and most function keys. Ignoring the function keys prevents inadvertent video mode changes that crash Fractint. Added size checks for string prompts to prevent overflows when entering string values. Floating point Mandelbrot set code now uses FPU assembly code. The fast parser FPU assembly code still eludes me. Hmm, all those links (shortened or otherwise) seem to be dead. Including Fractint.net. Where can fractint.net and XFractint SDL be found now? Oh, and fractint.org also seems to be gone. Did I miss some announcement on the list or something? On 8/5/18 5:05 PM, Harold Lane wrote:

Folks,
Made text modes ignore the mouse and most function keys. Ignoring the function keys prevents inadvertent video mode changes that crash Fractint. Added size checks for string prompts to prevent overflows when entering string values. Floating point Mandelbrot set code now uses FPU assembly code. The fast parser FPU assembly code still eludes me.
Windows version (32-bit) is: https://fractint.net/ftp/experimental/SDL2-fractint-20.05alpha-2018-08- 05.zip

or look in the directory:

Dreamhost is having some problems and our websites are down. The volumes with the fractint.net and fractint.org files are back, so nothing has been lost. Dreamhost support is working on it. Tim
