FOTD 09-02-06 (Not rated, not named)
FOTD -- February 09, 2006 (No Rating, No Name) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is a scene in the fractal created by the formula Z^(2.5)-Z^(-1.5)+(1/C). This parent fractal is a hugely sprawl- ing thing with a disproportioned and twisted Mandeloid near the center. Today's image is located in what I assume is the East Valley of the parent. I cannot be sure it is the East Valley because the Mandeloid is distorted almost beyond recognition. Once again, I gave the image no rating and no name. If I had rated the image, it would have earned about a 7. If I had named it, I would have given it a name associated with diamonds. The 19-minute render time is slower than recent images, but the result is better, making the overall worth about the same.
