Hal Lane has a copy of my Multifractal Archives on his server. Hal please publish the link - and a Happy NewYear to you and the community ! The One Drive Audio Fractal collection presently is unavailable as the service is limited and used for other purposes - if there is some interest maybe you can publish the link too. Thank you ! Albrecht, All, I actually downloaded your OneDrive Archives to my *desktop* computer's hard drive. I will upload it to my server as soon as I can, and publish the link -- I have out-of-town visitors currently. Fortunately, I just changed ISPs and I now (supposedly) have ~360 Mbps upload speed. Edward
Perhaps you, [Albrecht,] or others, can explain how your type of multifractals are constructed and where we might find some documentation for these. Albrecht created documentation for the user interface -- for the meanings of the parameters passed into his multifractal formula, to enable people to use his formula, and it's in his archive.
I'll be uploading a copy of his archive soon.
Unless , [your multifractals,] like many fractals at this group , these are artist endeavors.
Albrecht can confirm or refute the following: ---- Hal says -------- Albrect's multifractals are a large technical advancement in Fractint formulas. The main thrust of the multifractal formula is "artist endeavors." That said, these images can be used as the basis for other endeavors, such as music. ------------------------- - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -----Original Message----- From: Fractint [mailto:fractint-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Edward Montague Sent: Monday, January 1, 2018 4:58 AM To: Fractint and General Fractals Discussion <fractint@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: Re: [Fractint] Taiko_Jam Perhaps you , or others , can explain how your type of multifractals are constructed and where we might find some documentation for these. The final Multifractal software needed several years to complete. In the beginning there were only experiments in order to find out if it was possible at all to create fractal images consisting of several parts and frms, but still a new kind of image and later, when the procedures were standardized, the relations between them were transformed into hard rules capable of all theoretical possibilities. On one side every dot being iterated by a different frm or on the other side images clearly separated into differently sized parts with completely different parameters and colors. These multifractals are ideal to create fractal music if converted. The Midi standard itself can be modified in a similar way in connection with my "fractal" shifting rhythm as I have proven. Sincerely, Albrecht
You asked for documentation about multifractals, here it is. Also take a look at my mandel variations, there are a lot of them On 01.01.2018 10:58, Edward Montague wrote:
