Well, I understand that W98 and W3.1 are completely immune to all current malware. Install no Java or Flash. Use a very old version of Opera (from before it supported Javascript). : I´m still using XP on one machine thanks to the XP Dos mode. There´s no security risk whatsoever as long as Bitdefender Free do not end their support. Their triple defense - Mainprotection, Traffic light and Quickscan as Firefox plugins works perfectly and I experience very few attacks - compared to W7.
