FOTD 30-09-06 (Flying Saucer [Not Rated])
FOTD -- September 30, 2006 (No Rating) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image keeps us in the vicinity of the 2.003 rectangle. This time we view it, or what is left of it, in the Parabolic direction. And what remains is very little. The brilliant blue background in the center is the leftovers of our once near-perfect rectangle. Such a total transformation is rarely seen. The entire image consists of normally invisible 'inside' stuff made visible by the bof61 inside fill. I put not enough effort into the work to give it a rating. The name "Flying Saucer" was inspired by the vaguely UFO shaped ring of red elements surrounding the saucer. The 6-3/4 minute wait for the image to calculate may be avoided by viewing the finished image on the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> Morning sun gave way to midday clouds and afternoon downpours here at New Fractal Central on Thursday. The accompanying thunder caught the attention of the fractal cats, but not for long. They somehow got into a boxing match, unarmed of course, and finished the day sulking at each other. My day started in a rush, but came under control by the time the rain moved in. Things look like they will be on the slow side well into next week, which can only mean better fractals. The next glorious fractal will appear in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and if 1 plus 1 equaled 3, what kind of change would it cause in the world of fractals? Is this FOTD really for more than one day into the future?? Another words skipping both the 28th and 29th?? Later, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
