FOTD -- March 12, 2006 (No Rating) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is a scene near the tip of a filament of a bud on the northwest shoreline of the main bay of a midget that lies far out on the negative X-axis of the Mandelbrot set. Now that we know what the image is, we can get down to analyzing it. Facing facts honestly, we see an image the likes of which has been seen many times before. Being an honest person, I have neither named nor rated the image. The image requires arbitrary precision math, but despite this, it renders in under 13 minutes, even on my tired-out decrepit old clunker of a computer, which was outdated 10 years ago. I myself would have been more contented if there had been a bit less stuff to do.
