Never mind. There is an option in Eudora Options/Attachments then check Receive MIME Digest as a Mailbox Attachment. After doing that the Fractint Digest comes with the index at the top and then a link to a .mbx file. Clicking on that link creates a virtual mailbox with all the individual subjects in it. This doesn't work with Yahoo Group Digests since they aren't in a MIME format. I don't know why the do this but I'm sure they aren't going to change it just for me. The question comes to mind, if this is the way I want it then why don't I just receive individual mails and place them in separate mailboxes. This could work but there are some drawbacks. First is that the increased individual items makes managing spam with MailWasher much more difficult. Secondly, if I get behind in my email, depending on what list it is I just delete the whole digest. (Never a Fractint one, though ;) Not even to mention the increased overhead. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.665 / Virus Database: 428 - Release Date: 4/21/2004

This is a horn of mine that I don't mind tooting. Report SPAM. Not many service providers tolerate it in outgoing mail, and _those_ which do hav reduced connectivity to the internet due to the Mail Abuse Prevention System and other adjudicated black-lists. I hav one mailbox and no filters. Even the bank is not exempt from my complaints about spam in the snail box. PINE 3.95 COMPOSE MESSAGE REPLY Folder: INBOX 46 Messages. By that I mean I paid a bill for two bits, that being a quarter of a dollar. It contained some snail mail for financial services with my name and address on it. It ain't rocket science to guess who is responsible, since the bank didn't hav my snail-address for a year and ditto for my receipt of such offers. If they don't correct my bill, and I mean cancel the transaction charge for that, then I might be switching banks. (But, maybe there should be a fee for the choice words you can put on paper). I might switch, anyway, but in case you missed my point, there might be a hidden cost similar to the one I would pay for switching internet service providers. The best spam control is done at the source! Even with what I do, and how long I've done it, some of those 46 are spam, so eliminating it is an exercise in futility -- a major topic in the determination of escape radii, to make the obligatory connection to _this_ list if there isn't a self-referential one that can be easy to forget about.
