Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: The rumors of my departure are grossly exaggerated! Though the world situation grows more discouraging and disgusting, it seems every day, the fractals and I are still here at FC, along with FL. Since the last FOTD was posted, I have found a couple fractal images marginally worth posting to the list, which I might pass along in a couple days. But my energies are now turning to creating images the old way, without a computer. My hand drawing and coloring skills have grown stale in the past 20 or so years I have produced art on computers, but they are not gone, merely sleeping. And my ideas are richer than ever. Hopefully, I will soon be creating real creative fractal art, a combination of fractals and hand drawn scenes. There is still much to be worked out, so stay tuned to see how things develop. Meanwhile, the trio of fractal cats is getting along fine. Until next time, take care, and where did that bright side go? JIM
