This read.me is ancient and does not apply to the SDL version. In order to create a source package of the SDL version that can be compiled, I will need to create a Make file. Since I am developing in an IDE, I haven't done this yet. If by package it is meant a pre-compiled 32-bit version, then no, there is not one available. Although I am doing it now for the 64-bit SDL version, I prefer to not distribute pre-compiled versions for Linux. There are too many variables from one distribution to the next, and I can't guess what they all may be (or cause). Jonathan
