Is Fractint being "moved to a better programming environment"?

Hello all, I was delighting in my discovery of the online searchable Fractint doc (available for years now, probably...) when I (re)encountered a statement on this page: http://www.nahee.com/spanky/www/fractint/drawing_method.html ... in the SOI section, stating the potential for Fractint to be "moved to a better programming environment". I'm curious: Is there a group working to do this? I searched github for fractint but the only hit appears to be a side-effort. I ask both because I'd love to see SOI enabled for zooms deeper than double long precision, and because I'd like to participate in the effort to move Fractint to a better programming environment. Cheers, Jason
