Re: [Fractint] Wonder what Mandel Miracle would look like at 1920/1080

I must admit I had my doubts about anti.aliasing but they are not justified at all. Even the smallest objects have a clearly defined structure and the too bright parts are now correct. Thanks for that!
You're welcome!
I wonder what the image would look like using the native resolution of my flatscreen, 1920/1080.
Here you go: http://tinyurl.com/MdMiracle20000W12-1920x1080AA or: http://www.emarketingiseasy.com/Albrecht/MFR_13/150111_Mandel_Miracle/20000W 12-1920x1080AA.jpg It's just a quick anti-aliasing that uses my existing 4k x 3k original image to anti-alias from -- so it's not as good as it would look if I had calculated a full 4 X (1920/1080) image to anti-alias from. Also, I didn't crop the picture to fit 1920/1080, as I thought that would throw away too much of your great image. So when I made the anti-aliased image exactly fill your flat screen display, it changed the aspect ratio of the image some. I hope you don't mind too much. - Hal ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## ---------------------------------- Author: Albrecht Niekamp Date: 2015-01-16 03:09 -500 To: Hal Lane, Fractint_msg Subject: Re: [Fractint] Mandel Miracle Am 16.01.2015 03:10, schrieb Hal Lane:
Be sure you're viewing the images at full size for a valid comparison. Hal, I must admit I had my doubts about anti.aliasing but they are not justified at all. I wonder what the image would look like using the native resolution of my flatscreen, 1920/1080. I watch the images with Irfan viewer fullscreen and can switch with left or right mouse button. Petta
