FOTD -- May 06, 2005 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is a blow-up of the Mandeloid midget in the lower left corner of yesterday's half-moon image. I have named it "An Extra Fractal" because it is the second image from the same scene. I decided on the rating of a 7 because of the effect of a three-dimensional thicket of tropical vegetation. The render time of 11-1/2 minutes is a bit slow, but still within reason. And as always, the already-rendered image can be accessed on the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> A fine spring day on Thursday, with a high temperature of 64F 18C, gave the fractal cats a long afternoon in the yard. When evening came, they settled down without asking for their usual tuna. Today is starting cloudy with rain not far to the east. It looks like a questionable day for the duo.
