WHY anyone uses real player for anything is a question for a better philosopher than I. Try RIGHT click the file, you should see a menu with "play with" or "open with" etc. Choose windows media player. If it opens a file, and it needs a codec, and you are online at the time, it will automatically download it (usually from microsoft) and install. Unless you have disabled this feature, in which case you should un-disable it. It was hard encoding this viddie, it is "too complex" and the codec used was the only one that worked, the same one used for the universe viddies.
