. The FOTD 8/28/13 "creature of the abyss" is actually a zoom in along the upper ridge of a rather unimpressive parent fractal, consisting mostly of concentric colored rings. And Muth is right - with the "numb" setting normal, only a black screen results. Other settings give some stuff, particularly the "atan", which is quite colorful and interesting - may investigate further.
