FOTD -- June 24, 2012 (Rating 8) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is named "Fractal Splendor", which might be stretching its worth a bit. The rating of an 8 might also be a small stretch, though there certainly have been worse images. The image is an evaporated one (all inside stuff) in an immense parent fractal that defies description. The colors are vivid enough, but I can't escape the feeling that something is not quite right with them. The calculation time of only one brief minute prevents too much disappointment if the finished image fails to bring satisfaction.
