FYI: Lee Skinner posted about 17 par files a few issues ago. He said some would take a while to render. He was right. They have been cruising 3 days now in auto-mode on my P2-300 and still not done! Some of them look real good. I will post the completed pix/pars on my server in a few days when done if NY1 is interested. Hey - NY1 know when fractint 1.0 was first released? Gotta be getting near the 20th anniversary soon!? Fear God. Nothing else. JoTz

According to the last few lines of the documentation, which can be produced by running the program with the MAKEDOC option: Version 1.0, 9/88 The original, blindingly fast, 386-specific 32-bit integer algorithm But I believe the first several releases were called something other than "FractInt". In fact, it was called "FRACT386" all the way up to version 6 and had the name change at version 6.1 while Bert Tyler was the author.
