I consider the science-religion conflict to be off-topic on this list. Those who wish to see the reply, which is the introduction to a book about the conflict, should go to the philo- fractal list, where such wisdom (or blather) is right on topic.
...(b) people on the philofractal list don't need the announcement.
Which is why I posted it only to the Fractint list. Jim M.

I agree completely, so why do you keep doing so (especially when you said you'd stop?). So I take it you waited a while so that people who might want to see your reply would've had time to subscribe before you posted it?

Where it is off-topic. I have a suggestion. I'm suggesting it here 'cos it could impact on the other readers of this list. Start yourself a weblog. Then you can post whatever you like whenever you like, and anyone with http access can read what you say at any time after that if they so desire. Have each post linked to a discussion forum if you want - which you could moderate. Then you won't feel the need to vent in the Fractint discussion group, and instead there concentrate on fractals and the FOTD (which could perhaps also go on the site, which could serve as a place from which to distribute the FOTD CD). I'll even build the thing if you want to discuss a contract. You could call it the "Muthticism List". And it would be your very own. Morgan L.
